Downloading the OPENLANE app
The OPENLANE app is available in both the Apple App Store and the Google Play Store. You can easily access the app by clicking the links above, or searching ‘OPENLANE’ in the search bar. Once you’ve downloaded the OPENLANE app to your smartphone or tablet, you’re ready to get started.
After installation, your next step will be to enter the login information you already use for the OPENLANE desktop experience. If you haven’t created an OPENLANE account yet, it’s easy to sign up. Finding Inventory
Now that you’re logged into the OPENLANE US marketplace on your app, it’s time to experience OPENLANE’s seemingly endless selection of inventory. OPENLANE features a robust selection of advanced search filters, allowing you to find the vehicles that your customers are craving.
Know exactly what you’re looking for? Simply click the “Filters” button and type it into the search bar at the top of the page. That’s where you’ll also find dozens of other filtering options, letting you refine your search based on criteria like make, model, year, price range and so much more.
Review Vehicles
Once you’ve found a vehicle that might be right for your lot, it’s time to take a closer look and review the Vehicle Details Page. Easily view 25+ pictures of each vehicle, along with essential information like seller name, make, model, VIN and mileage.

Everything from the initial bid to the final closing, as well as initiating transport set up, can be done right in the app.

Switch to Selling
Next on the list: selling a car in the app. With the newly unified OPENLANE app, there’s no need to change apps or get back onto your desktop to sell a vehicle.
When you’re ready to list a car on OPENLANE, simply tap the “More” button at the bottom of the page and then “Shift to selling.” It really is that easy.
